I connect to the remote network with Cisco VPN client and then connect to remote Windows 7 desktop. There is a old Remote Desktop program that can be run from desktop and it works fine in this situation. But, when I try to connect to the same remote desktop with new win8 app called Remote Desktop, it fails with the message
"Impossible to connect to the remote computer for one of the following reasons:
1) the remote access is not active
2) the remote computer is switched off
3) the remote computer is not connected to the network".
Could you please give me advice and explain what is the difference in the connection settings on both local and remote machine when using old and new Remote Desktop applications?
Thank in advance,
