Windows Media Player DLNA Server File Structure (Windows 8.1)

Dears,

My question is about the inconsistency between:

1. The file structure shown in the Windows Media Player Library (= files in libraries folders)

VS

2. The file structure that the Windows DLNA Server and all my DLNA clients are showing.

Deleted files remain visible  on all my DLNA clients even after clearing the DLNA Cache on both sides (DLNA client as well as WMP cache folders).

The strange thing is though that when I doubleclick on the WMP DLNA Server icon in Explorer/ MyComputerit still shows the old deleted files (however they cannot be opened or removed and have no thumbnail because they no longer exsist ).

But when I doubleclik the WMP DLNA Server icon in Explorer / Netwok it opens Windows Media Player without these deleted files listed (so with the correct library).

What I did so far to fix this is:

1. Deleted thumb.db files

2. Executed disk clean up.

2. Rebuilt the WMP library (stopped the WMP Network Sharing Service, deleted the WMP Cache Files, reboot, reactivated the sharing service)

But all without success.

So my question is: How do I get my DLNA clients to fetch the correct WMP libraries file structure ?

What may cause this issue ? Is this maybe some indexing issue of ghost file thing ?

Hope someone knows!

Kind regards,

Bob
