Problematic connections from Win8 to SBS 2003/enabling remote web workplace on Win8 desktop

We're running an SBS 2003 server, most of our client computers are Win7, with some new Win8 desktops added to the mix.

I'm trying to enable Remote Web Workplace on one of the Windows 8 desktops.

The client computer has all the same AD properties as the Win 7 clients, which are working.

The user is a member of all the appropriate groups.

The Win8 desktop can see the shared folders on the server, and authenticates the user against the domain controller, and recognizes that it's logged in to the domain.

I've pushed the remote access software install to the client computer, but when the client computer attempts to go to the //server/ComputerConnect URL to begin the installation, I get an error box saying that it's not connected to the SBS server, and prompts to retry.

What am I missing here?
