I have had problems connecting to my org's EAS using the Mail/Calendar/People apps since being forced to upgrade to 8.1. I used Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer and see there's a problem with these apps accepting the Go Daddy certificates used by my org. When I choose "Ignore SSL errors" on the Analyzer, it connects fine.
I've seen posts throughout indicating that the Mail app has a check box that allows the user to "Ignore SSL errors" BUT that is not showing up on my version of the app.
Can someone please provide guidance as to why my version doesn't have this critical feature?
