can see the other computer in Homegroup but cannot access the file in it

I have made a Homegroup between Windows8 and Windows7 computer. The computer with windows 7 can access both the computers in the homegroup but windows8 computers homegroup cannot access the windows7 computer though it is shown in windows 8 homegroup .  when clicked  cannot access the files in it. it is saying other computer is not available.
